Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Deal Desk Funding ("Deal Desk", "we") handles when you use our website, submit a transaction for funding review, use a Deal Room or Funder Room, or complete a Capital Partner Setup.
Draft — requires business / legal review before final publication
Information we collect
- Contact information — name, email, phone number, company.

Why we collect it and how we use it
- To review a transaction and assess whether it may qualify for funding.
- To verify transaction details, documents and parties.
- To match a transaction with a suitable capital provider and coordinate closing.
- To communicate with you about your submission, documents and closing.
- To keep the platform secure, prevent fraud and maintain audit records.
- To understand which marketing channels are working.
Sharing with capital providers and transaction parties
To review and fund a transaction, relevant transaction information and documents may be shared with a capital provider selected for that specific transaction, and with transaction parties such as the title or escrow company. Capital providers only see the transactions and documents explicitly shared with them. We do not sell personal information.
Document storage and security
Uploaded documents are stored privately. They are not published at public web addresses; access is through short-lived, permission-checked links. We use access controls, encrypted connections and activity logging. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The installable Deal Desk app does not store copies of documents, deal details or admin data on your device for offline use.
Data retention
Draft — requires business / legal review before final publication
We keep information for as long as needed to review, fund and close a transaction, and afterwards where reasonably required for legal, contractual, accounting, audit, dispute or fraud-prevention purposes. Specific retention periods are still being finalized.
Account and deletion requests
You can request deletion of your account and personal information. See Account deletion for how requests work and what may need to be retained.
